I hold an ATPL in meteorology and have studied it for 40 years day in
day out .
% of green house gases 2% of atmosphere .
Primary green house gas , water vapor which accounts for 90% of that 2%
Co2 6.3 % of that 2%
Co2 content of atmosphere .04% . 60 years ago it was .03% . So it’s gone
up 100ppm in 60 years.
Co2 content currently 400ppm.
During Jurassic period was 3000ppm and life was doing just fine . It
would take thousands of years to get back to Jurassic period level.
3000~400=2600/100=26x60=1560
1560 years to get to Jurassic level
Where’s the emergency ?
100ppm is 1.125% of what the co2 content was during the Cambrian period
. We still didn’t get runaway global warming at 8,000ppm.
