So here we are again, thrown into another US VS them debate over an
outrageous pubic event/scene. What almost no one gets or talks about, as
they debate whether the ICE agent was in danger or not (the self defence
excuse), is that these agents ARE NOT law enforcement and had NO legal
right to stop, detain, question, bully or in any way to hinder that
woman without probable cause of an immigration violation, and ONLY that.
Had these agents stayed within both their legal responsibilities and
general law enforcement procedures/protocols (such as not stepping in
front of a moving vehicle, shooting at the driver of a moving vehicle
etc) the incident WOULD NOT have happened.
